WORKBOOK SELECTION / RISK ASSESSMENT
Make the priority understandable before assigning a score.
Choose this path when you need to explain why one scenario deserves attention, what evidence would change that judgment and which response addresses the actual consequence.
Inspect the actual PDF sampleChoose by the work you need to practice.
For self-study candidates who know basic risk terminology and want to practice uncertainty and prioritization. This is not quantitative risk-model training or a replacement for the assessment method used by an employer.
Chapter 5 compares two services with different consequences and incomplete safeguards, then adds a follow-up packet. It discusses avoiding manufactured calculations. The risk-comparison.csv companion records scenarios and reasoning; the full workbook also includes three mock sessions.
The real eight-page sample shows the opening access-review lesson and the contents. It does not include the later risk-comparison chapter. The comparison below is original page-specific practice, not an excerpt from that chapter.

Try the decision first.
Fictional Linden Works can investigate one concern first this afternoon: an internal draft wiki has an uncertain recovery process, while a three-person dispatch tool has an unverified fallback before tomorrow’s scheduled client shipments. There are no incident probabilities, cost estimates or demonstrated recovery results in the packet.
What preliminary priority would you propose, and what information could reverse it?
Teaching material, not a verified employer question or prescribed assessment procedure.
Your practice output
A two-scenario comparison with business dependency, supported observations, missing facts, provisional priority and explicit conditions that would change it.
Read the worked reasoning
The stated shipment deadline gives a reason to investigate the dispatch dependency first, provided that dependency is confirmed. User count alone does not settle the choice. Clarify the required timing, actual fallback capability and wiki dependency before presenting a firm priority. Do not invent annual loss estimates from this packet.
Change the evidence
You learn that dispatch has a demonstrated fallback meeting the stated deadline, while the wiki stores the only current packing instructions needed for those same shipments. Reconsider the dependency and priority. Preserve the evidence behind the change rather than defending the original choice because you already made it.
A practical way to decide.
A free example may meet your immediate need. Choose the full workbook when its additional cases and repeatable written practice address a specific gap.
- Write the consequence for each service and state the time horizon of your decision.
- Compare the free worked reasoning and name one fact that could reverse your priority.
- Inspect the actual workbook sample and chapter list before choosing its longer cases and editable risk-comparison sheet.
